Andrews Auto Parcs Limited is a family run business, selling nearly new cars and quality used cars and vans, all sourced personally from a range of trusted leading brands. Our vehicles have typically covered less than five thousand miles and are in superb condition.

With over seventy years’ experience in the motor industry we’ve had the privilege of establishing unique relationships with a large panel of reputable vehicle manufacturers. It’s thanks to these relationships that we’re in such an excellent position in the industry enabling us to offer a vast array of beautiful, low mileage, high quality vehicles at incredible prices.

Our history

A lifetimes passion!

In 1971, Stephen Black decided to purchase a controlling share in Otley Motors Limited, a Ford dealership in Otley, West Yorkshire.

Otley Motors Limited quickly became well known for selling both new and nearly new Ford vehicles at vastly discounted prices. It wasn’t long before Otley Motors Limited’s reputation spread nationwide and in 1981, our first car supermarket ‘The Ford Hypermarket’ was established.

Following an exciting ten years growth, 1991 saw the Otley Motors Limited site undergo a complete redevelopment with a new state of the art showroom and workshop. This beautiful new facility was opened by the then Ford Motor Company Chairman Sir Ian McAllister.

Three years later in 1994, Stephen Black acquired some land in Harrogate, opposite the Great Yorkshire Showground and then proceeded to build a new car supermarket which is now known today as Andrews Auto Parcs Limited.

In 1988, Stephen Black’s son, Nicholas, worked at Otley Motors Limited, initially taking the role of Sales Executive before progressing onwards to Sales Manager. Nicholas then became General Manager of Andrews Auto Parcs Limited in 1994 when it commenced trading.

Stephen sold Otley Motors Limited in 1997 and retired from the commitment of running a company on a day to day basis. Stephen is however still involved in Andrews Auto Parcs Limited, keeping direct contact with all major manufacturers which is incredibly useful when sourcing and purchasing prime stock.

Most of the team here at Andrews Auto Parcs Limited are long serving and simply irreplaceable, having become an integral part of the family. Jacob and Chris form the spearhead of our successful sales team with Jacob having worked for Andrews since 1998.

What makes us different?

Our Cars

Andrews Auto Parcs Limited sell nearly new cars and vans, normally with less than five thousand miles with some of the vehicles consisting of delivery mileage only. Our vehicles are not only low mileage, but are sourced with the best specifications and in the most popular colours.

Our method of purchasing vehicles doesn’t change either. We individually inspect all the vehicles we purchase, whether it be one vehicle or hundreds before we buy them to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Sometimes we can’t source vehicles that meet our strict buying criteria due to quality, even if the price is right. We won’t be tempted by cheaper sub-standard vehicles as we know that you wouldn’t want to buy them, so why should we? We know you won’t regret a quality purchase so we aim to provide simply the best.

We operate a ‘no hassle, no haggle’ sales policy, only advertising vehicles that we physically have on site and available today at the lowest possible price.

We’re definitely not your typical ‘car salespeople’ as all of our team members have been part of Andrews Auto Parcs Limited for over sixteen years which is very unusual in the motor trade. However our team is truly dedicated to being helpful, friendly and very informative in order to offer you the best possible customer service and guidance when you’re looking for a new car.

Stephen Black

Chairman and Managing Director

Stephen Black was responsible for creating Andrews Auto Parcs Limited, three years before he sold Otley Motors Limited (‘The Ford Hypermarket’). Stephen has over fifty years’ experience in the motor trade and has all the expertise necessary to make Andrews Auto Parcs Limited function to the best of its abilities. Whilst leaving the day to day running of the business to his son, Nicholas, Stephen still takes an active role in purchasing stock and maintaining relationships with all our major manufacturers, much to our benefit. Stephen is passionate about his work but still enjoys unwinding with a spot of tennis three times a week.

Nicholas Black

General Manager

Nicholas has been part of Andrews Auto Parcs Limited since its inception in 1994. Educated at Lancashire Polytechnic and graduating in Business Studies, Nicholas certainly has all the knowledge of how a business should operate and is aware of all the do’s and don’ts. Working in the motor industry since the tender age of twenty one, Nicholas also has the experience needed to put his knowledge into practice effectively, and this truly shines through in his running of Andrews Auto Parcs Limited.

Nicholas is also an avid Leeds United fan as well as being an Ambassador for the Martin House Childrens Hospice in Clifford. Nicholas’ main responsibility at Andrews Auto Parcs Limited is to maintain the businesses current growth and ongoing success.

Jacob Whittaker

Sales Manager

Jacob joined Andrews Auto Parcs Limited in 1998, he previously worked in the licenced trade. Jacob has been part of the team for many years, obtaining invaluable experience and knowledge. Thanks to his dedication and attention to customer service, Jacob progressed to the role of Sales Manager. He is a family man and lives in Harrogate with his lovely wife and daughter. Taking pleasure from both his family life and his professional career, it’s a joy to have Jacob as part of the Andrews Auto Parcs Limited team.

Interestingly, Jacob’s father is Deputy Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, certainly an admirable role and title indeed.

Chris Solly

Sales Executive

Chris has been in the Motor Industry since 1988 after leaving the RAF. His first company car was a Nissan Sunny and he can still remember the registration number! Originally from Northumberland, Chris moved to Harrogate in 1978 where he attended Rossett High School. In his spare time, his main passion is motorcycling. Chris has been a keen biker since the age of sixteen when he bought his first moped, which he crashed a few weeks later.
